The Way The World Learns To Dive!
This course is a combination of the the 5 PADI class and confined water modules, preparing you for your 4 open water dives.Perfect for the student planning a warm water holiday, this program provides you with up to 15 hours of class time and 12 hours of pool time with a certified PADI dive instructor, as well as a referral for open water dives in another locale. Classes are available on a once-weekly basis, or over a weekend. Students will need PADI training materials to take the program. Ask for more information on the PADI Crewpak and Open water DVD.

The "Gold" program includes the class and pool training modules (see above), and will take students through the required 4 open water dives to attain the PADI Open Water Diver certification card. This is an excellent choice for students looking to complete their certification locally - open water dives are typically run over one weekend in the clear, beautiful lakes surrounding Jasper, Alberta.

The on-line program costs $120 US, and the pool training will cost from $99 - $199 Canadian with all scuba gear provided (price dependent on number of students and time of training. Required and recommended equipment for PADI Open Water training - classroom and pool:
-mask with silicone skirting for best fit
-snorkel
-fins - either closed or open heel
-water shoes or boots (for use with open heel fins)
-weight belt
-lead for weight belt - 6-20lbs, depending on your body weight and thickness of suit worn in pool
-wetsuit - shorty or full 2/3mm
